M. Ravichandran comes with around three decades of experience in Insurance. He has been associated with Tata Group Companies since 2000. With an aim to grow retail and corporate business of Tata Motors Insurance Broking And Advisory Services Limited (TMIBASL), he joined the company as Managing Director & CEO in August 2017. Under his leadership the Company’s license was upgraded to Composite broker and it forayed into Corporate Insurance and Reinsurance business. TMIBASL is now a comprehensive Insurance Broking house with capability to service the entire breadth of Insurance products. Prior to this, he was associated with Tata AIG and the New India Assurance Company.

Bhanu Bhai Sharma

Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Bhanu Bhai Sharma comes with over 25 years of professional experience in BPO/KPO Services, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Manufacturing, and Insurance sectors. Bhanu has extensive managerial experience in handling various functions ranging from Finance and Accounting, Secretarial, Business Operations, Information Technology, Compliance and Legal, etc. which has helped to build a comprehensive understanding of the needs of an organization, strategies and tactics required to ensure business continuity, corporate governance, practices which build a strong foundation. Bhanu is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), Company Secretary (FCS), Cost Accountant (ACMA) and is a Fellow member of Insurance Institute of India (FIII). Bhanu has been associated with Tata Group for over 14 years and is now engaged with TMIBASL, as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.

Sushil Kumar Rawat

Chief Marketing Officer

Sushil Rawat has over three decades of domain experience. He joined TMIBASL in Jan 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for the retail business function. He started his career with United India Insurance Company as Direct Recruit Officer and subsequently served at two Private Sector Insurers – IFFCO TOKIO GIC Ltd & Universal Sompo GIC Ltd., predominantly in the marketing domain, though he has also been engaged in Claims, Legal & underwriting aspects of the business at various times.

Rajeev Varghese

Head Employee Benefits

Rajeev Varghese comes with over three decades of diversified experience in Sales and Operations across industries like Insurance, Logistics and Banking. He leads the Employee Benefits practice at TMIBASL encompassing all aspects of Operations, Technology, Wellness, Consulting and Client Servicing.

With a rich experience in corporate employee benefits over the last 15 years, he has worked across India with leading corporates to design and implement various insurance programmes for Life and Health Insurance. He has been a key member in designing technology platforms for benefit administration of policies and implementation of Flex programmes for customers. He was associated with organisations like DHL, HDFC Bank, TATA AIA and Marsh in his past stints. He has served as a Captain in Indian Army for over 6 years where he trained and built technical capabilities of the unit and lead troops into counter insurgency and overseas operations during the tenure.

Thangaraj Jeeva

Head – Technical, Placement & Servicing

Thangaraj Jeeva has over three decades of domain experience. He joined Tata Motors Insurance Broking And Advisory Services Limited in September 2021 to head Corporate Non EB Placement, Claims and Techno Marketing.

He has vast experience in underwriting & claims, marketing, reinsurance and have ability to structure complex insurance programs for corporate clients by assessing their risk profile.

He started his career with Oriental Insurance Company as Direct Recruit Officer and subsequently served with two private insurers – Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited and Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Ltd.

Jaikumar J.

Chief Compliance Officer

Jaikumar J has been with TMIBASL since October 2016. In his role as the Chief Compliance Officer, he is responsible for compliance and legal function. He is the grievance redressal officer of TMIBASL and member of Policyholder's Protection Committee, Governance Committee, Outsourcing Committee".

He is a corporate lawyer having 23 years of rich experience in the field of banking and insurance. Prior to joining TMIBASL, Jai has worked at HDFC ERGO General Insurance Co. Ltd as Vice President - Legal & Compliance.

Saswat Kar

Deputy Vice President - Human Resources

Saswat has more than 2 decades of experience in HR across industries and more than a decade in the insurance services industry, Saswat joined TMIBASL in September, 2012. He has made valuable contribution in building organization and people capabilities. He helped set up the HR Department, streamlined processes and worked intensively in driving a safe, meritocratic and customer oriented culture.
